Douglas Ward, author of the Berlitz Cruising and Cruise Ships guide and Berlitz River Cruising in Europe and the USA, recently returned from a seven-day cruise around Italy aboard MSC Cruises’ MSC Grandiosa. He joins Paul and Elizabeth to reveal what cruising is like during COVID-19.

MSC has instituted strict protocols – including testing all passengers and crew in the terminal before boarding, mandating face masks and social distancing aboard, and daily temperature checks for everyone – that have resulted in Grandiosa’s sailing COVID-free.
